The personal information we collect is stored and/or processed in the United States or where we or our partners, affiliates, and third-party providers maintain facilities.

When we transfer personal information from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland to the United States, we rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, its UK Extension, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for providers certified under them, and otherwise on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission (with the UK Addendum where applicable), as included in our providers' data processing agreements. You can contact us to learn more about these safeguards or to request a copy of them.
14. Your Rights and Controlling Your Personal Information
Your choice: By providing personal information to us, you understand we will collect, hold, use, and disclose your personal information in accordance with this privacy policy. You do not have to provide personal information to us, however, if you do not, it may affect your use of our website or the products and/or services offered on or through it.
Information from third parties: If we receive personal information about you from a third party, we will protect it as set out in this privacy policy. If you are a third party providing personal information about somebody else, you represent and warrant that you have such person's consent to provide the personal information to us.
Marketing permission: If you have previously agreed to us using your personal information for direct marketing purposes, you may change your mind at any time by contacting us using the details below.
Access: You may request details of the personal information that we hold about you.
Correction: If you believe that any information we hold about you is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant, or misleading, please contact us using the details provided in this privacy policy. We will take reasonable steps to correct any information found to be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or out of date.
Non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights over your personal information. We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity.
15. Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to provide core site functionality and to run optional product analytics and diagnostics. Some analytics we use are privacy-friendly and do not rely on cookies or persistent identifiers.
How we ask depends on where you are. If you visit from the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Canada or Brazil (or we cannot tell where you are), optional analytics and diagnostics only run after you allow them in our cookie banner. If you visit from the United States, they run by default, a notice tells you so, and you can opt out at any time; if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out. Everywhere else, they run by default, unless your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. We work out the country from your IP address when you first visit and do not store it. Wherever you are, you can change your choice at any time from "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
Essential Cookies and Local Storage (No Consent Required)
Authentication cookies: These cookies are strictly necessary for providing secure access to your account and ensuring you can use our services. They enable basic functions like page navigation and access to secure areas of the website. We do not need your consent to use these cookies as they are essential for the site to function.
Preference storage: We store your choice locally in your browser (or, where analytics runs by default, the default that applies to you) so we can remember whether optional product analytics and diagnostics are enabled.
Privacy-Friendly Anonymous Analytics (No Cookies)
We use Plausible for aggregate page-visit measurement. Plausible does not use cookies or persistent identifiers for this analytics setup, and we do not intentionally send personal information to Plausible.
When optional analytics is off (until you allow it where we ask first, or after you opt out or choose essential cookies only), PostHog Cloud EU counts page visits and the use of product features anonymously. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. For each page you view, it receives the page address (including any campaign tags on the link you followed, such as utm_source), the referring site, and your browser and device type. When you use a feature, such as opening content, filtering, searching, saving to a collection, copying or downloading media, signing in, or starting a checkout, it receives the name of that action with product details such as content identifiers, content types, filter keys, and sanitized search terms, but not your account identifier, your email address, or the names of your collections. To tell visitors apart within a day, PostHog's servers combine your IP address and browser user agent with a secret that changes every day into a one-way code. Your IP address is not stored, and activity on different days cannot be linked together. We do not link this anonymous activity to your account or to the optional product analytics below.
If you create an account, we save with it the campaign tags of the link you followed, the name of the ad network if you came from an ad, the page you landed on and the referring site, so we know which campaign brought you. While you are on the sign-in page, they are also added to its address, so they still count if you reload it. When optional analytics is on, we also keep them in your browser for up to 30 days, so they still count if you sign up later, and the same details of your first visit for up to 90 days. They hold no identifier. When you start a subscription, these details for that visit and for the first visit we know of are sent with the checkout and saved on your subscription, with us and with Stripe, our payment processor, so we know which campaign led to it.
Optional Product Analytics
Product analytics (PostHog Cloud EU): When optional analytics is on (see above), PostHog stores an identifier in your browser (a cookie and local storage) so that your use of product features, such as opening content, filtering, saving to collections, copying or downloading media, and upgrade actions, can be followed across visits. When you are signed in, we may associate these events with an internal account identifier. We do not intentionally send your email address to PostHog for this purpose. Product analytics event properties may include content identifiers, content types, collection names, filter keys, sanitized search terms, and similar product context. PostHog session recording is disabled in our configuration.
If analytics is turned on partway through a visit, PostHog starts a new identifier at that point; what you did before stays anonymous and is not linked to it. With or without your consent, requests from your browser reach PostHog through an address on our own domain, which passes them on unchanged; your browser does not send our site's cookies with them.
Account, Subscription, and MCP Records in PostHog (No Cookies)
Separately from the optional analytics above, our servers record a small number of account events in PostHog: when you create an account (with the sign-up method, email or Google, whether you chose to receive our emails, and where the visit that ended in the sign-up came from: the campaign tags on the link you followed, the name of the ad network if the link came from an ad, the first page you opened, and the referring site's domain), when you sign in (with the sign-in method, password, email link, or Google), when you subscribe to or unsubscribe from the weekly digest (and where: the sign-up form, a prompt on the site, your settings, or the unsubscribe link in an email), when you open a checkout, and when your subscription changes (for example a trial starting, a trial becoming a paid subscription, a failed payment, a cancellation being scheduled or withdrawn, a plan change, or a subscription ending, including any cancellation reason you select). These records contain your internal account identifier, the date, and plan details (Stripe subscription identifier, price, billing interval, amount, currency, and subscription status). When you use the Rebrand MCP tools while signed in with a paid plan, we also record product telemetry this way (internal account identifier, tool name, duration, result counts, and sanitized search terms). These records do not use cookies or read anything from your device, and we do not send your email address, name, or payment details with them.
We keep these records on the basis of our legitimate interest in knowing how many people sign up, come back, subscribe, and cancel, and which of our campaigns and ads bring them, so we can run, improve, and promote the service. Where your visit came from is kept in the page's memory and on the sign-in page's address, and in your browser for up to 30 days (90 days for your first visit) only when optional analytics is on; it travels with your sign-up or checkout request, and we keep the network's name, never the click identifier that ad networks add to their links. When optional analytics is on, PostHog links them to the analytics events from your browser. You can object to this processing at any time by contacting us using the details in the Contact Us section.
Search Infrastructure
When you use search, autocomplete, or filter search, the queries you enter are processed by Algolia so we can return relevant results quickly. Those queries may also appear in our aggregate search analytics when they have been sanitized for analytics use.
MCP Search (Google Gemini API)
When you search Rebrand through our MCP tools (for example from Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor), the text of your search is sent to Google's Gemini API, which turns it into a numerical representation that we compare with our catalog. If you attach a picture in ChatGPT and ask for similar work, ChatGPT gives our server a temporary link to that picture; we download it, reduce its size, and send it to the Gemini API in the same way. We do not store your pictures or these representations: they are kept only briefly in server memory so that further pages of the same search load quickly. We use Google's paid Gemini API service, under which Google processes this data on our behalf and does not use it to improve its products. Google may keep requests for a limited period (currently up to 55 days) solely to detect abuse and to meet legal obligations. Pictures can contain personal information, such as people's faces, so only attach pictures you are comfortable sharing for this purpose.
Search With a Picture
When you are signed in, you can search Rebrand with a picture by pasting, dropping, or choosing an image, or by pasting a link to one. If you paste a link, our server downloads the image from that address. The picture is reduced in size and sent to Google's Gemini API in the same way as MCP pictures (see above). We do not keep the original picture. To show your results page again when you reload it or go back to it, we keep a small, low-resolution copy of the picture and the list of matching shots for 7 days, after which they are deleted automatically. Anyone you share that results page's link with can see that copy until then. The same applies here: only search with pictures you are comfortable sharing for this purpose.
Optional Diagnostics
Error tracking and performance monitoring (Sentry): When optional analytics is on, we use Sentry to collect diagnostic information about errors and performance issues. This helps us identify and fix problems, improving your experience. Depending on the event, this may include:
- Error messages and stack traces when something goes wrong
- Performance metrics such as page-load timings and navigation timings
- Browser and device information
- Visited page URLs, referrer URLs, and console breadcrumbs
- Basic network request metadata associated with the failing session
You can change your analytics and diagnostics choice at any time from "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page, or contact us for help.
16. Business Transfers
If we or our assets are acquired, or in the unlikely event that we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, we would include data, including your personal information, among the assets transferred to any parties who acquire us. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any parties who acquire us may, to the extent permitted by applicable law, continue to use your personal information according to this policy, which they will be required to assume as it is the basis for any ownership or use rights we have over such information.
17. Limits of Our Policy
Our website may link to external sites that are not operated by us. Please be aware that we have no control over the content and policies of those sites, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy practices.

If we decide to change this privacy policy, we will post the changes here at the same link by which you are accessing this privacy policy.
If the changes are significant, or if required by applicable law, we will contact you (based on your selected preferences for communications from us) and all our registered users with the new details and links to the updated or changed policy.

Some browsers have a "Do Not Track" feature that lets you tell websites that you do not want to have your online activities tracked. At this time, we do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. We do honor the Global Privacy Control signal: when your browser sends it, optional analytics and diagnostics stay off.
We adhere to the standards outlined in this privacy policy, ensuring we collect and process personal information lawfully, fairly, transparently, and with legitimate, legal reasons for doing so.
