Žalgiris Rebrand & Brand Identity

BC Žalgiris Kaunas is a Lithuanian basketball club founded in 1944, a EuroLeague side that is more than a team. Andstudio's 2023 rebrand replaced the 1998 crest, drawn for a pre-digital club and hard to crop or animate, with a cleaner shield that keeps the checkerboard, plus a custom typeface based on old uniform lettering and fan posters. It aims to draw younger fans and sponsors around a mindset of always pushing past your own limits.
